DESCRIPTION:Join us for a presentation from Rich Greene\, president of ASD 
 Drive Ready to learn about exciting new options for folks with ASD\n\n\n\n\
 nBack by popular demand! ASD Drive Ready is partnering with UCF CARD to mak
 e innovative programming using virtual reality available in our area. This 
 presentation will highlight strategies that can assist with decreasing anxi
 ety\, improving focus on critical driving behaviors\, learning rules of the
  road\, and preparing for driving\, whether before the permit or after! Bes
 t of all\, funding for these programs may be available through FLVS\, FES o
 r Vocational Rehabilitation.* Priority will be given to UCF CARD constituen
 ts who have expressed interest in driving instruction.\nHere is a recent br
 ief video from the UCF College of Health Professions and Sciences (CHPS) th
 at talks a bit about this collaboration.\n*This program is not directly fun
 ded by FLDOE\, it is possible based off grant and additional donation fundi
 ng. While funds may be available to defray the cost of the instruction\, th
 is specialized instruction is not a free UCF CARD service. All participants
  seeking funding support from UCF CARD sources must have been registered fo
 r at least 3 months and have completed their intial consultation with their
  ASD specialist.
