PALS Programs

    Social events, skill building, and community engagement for children and adults on the autism spectrum

    PALS offers programs for children and adults on the autism spectrum who are registered with UCF-CARD. We also collaborate with the community to integrate individuals with autism into sports and recreation programs.

    Some programs have participation criteria, while others are open to all constituents.

    Social enhancement programs for communication and coping skills

    Engaging, accessible curriculum for ASD students — from AEIO&U (ages 2-7) through Eight-12, TAG, and Level Up (ages 18-24).

    Adventures with Autism

    Adventures with Autism (AwA) is a social recreation program designed to target social and life skills by teaching teens and adults with ASD to be flexible thinkers, problem solvers, and effective collaborators while developing friendships. Participants are supported by our PALS Facilitators as they practice using various modes of transportation to navigate and explore an itinerary of opportunities in different regions throughout the Central Florida community.
