Dr. Renu Velisetty

Dr. Renu Velisetty is the Founder of Lotus Integrative Psychiatry, an outpatient psychiatry clinic. She completed her psychiatry residency at Albany Medical College and child & adolescent fellowship at the University of South Dakota. In an effort to provide more holistic options for families, she also completed advanced training in therapy, integrative psychiatry, and mind-body medicine so she can offer individualized care for all ages, including children and adults. Dr. Velisetty practiced as an attending physician in Des Moines, Iowa where she trained psychiatry residents and was on the board of Iowa Chapter of Children’s Advocacy Centers. She believes in holistic healing through both integrative practices and traditional psychiatry. As a mother of two young girls, Dr. Velisetty is a passionate advocate for children’s mental health and aims to educate others with the goal of supporting those with autism.
