Karma Maldonado

Kmarie “Karma” Maldonado is a marketing professional with 20 years of experience in brand strategy, digital campaigns, and community outreach. She holds an MBA in Marketing and has worked across corporate, nonprofit, and advocacy settings, leading initiatives that connect purposeful storytelling with measurable growth. Guided by her mission of using marketing for good, she has built campaigns that inspire action and strengthen communities.

Her advocacy is rooted in lived experience, shaped by her oldest son, Christopher, who is autistic, and enriched by the perspective her husband, Christian, brings. As a homeschooling mother, Karma combines academics and therapies with art, nature, and meaningful experiences, giving her children a learning environment where curiosity leads the way. She is a graduate of Partners in Policymaking through the Florida Developmental Disabilities Council, where she gained the tools to educate policymakers, champion inclusion, and empower families navigating autism and disability services.
Outside of her professional and advocacy work, Karma enjoys family adventures at Disney and Universal Studios, trips to the beach, and exploring Central Florida’s parks, libraries, and cultural events. Together with her husband and two boys, she shares a love for art, music, and creativity, filling their home with laughter, imagination, and curiosity.
