What is AwA?
Adventures with Autism (AwA) is a social recreation program designed to target social and life skills by teaching teens and adults with ASD to be flexible thinkers, problem solvers, and effective collaborators while developing friendships. Participants are supported by our PALS Facilitators as they practice using various modes of transportation to navigate and explore an itinerary of opportunities in different regions throughout the Central Florida community.

AwA Fun Fridays
On select Fridays, adventurers will explore exciting itineraries. Past adventures have included iconic Orlando hotspots like International Drive, Disney Springs, SeaWorld, and Universal's Islands of Adventure! New Fun Fridays adventures coming soon.
AwA Week-Long Camps
Adventurers will navigate through a set region using public transit options (SunRail, bus system, walking, etc.) to explore local museums, government facilities, restaurants, and more!
All ticket purchases include a $20 lunch stipend that participants will use to practice budgeting in real-world scenarios.
